Carolin Kreber is Professor of Education at Cape Breton University. Prior to joining Cape Breton University in an administrative role in 2015, she held professorships at the Universities of Edinburgh and Alberta.

One of Carolin’s interests concerns the relationship between higher education and society, and she recently embarked on a new book that explores how the purposes and practices of higher education need to be rethought and transformed to create stronger possibilities for human, community and ecological flourishing.
